Ecumenical Relations
Our church maintains fraternal relations with The Roman Catholic Church and Church of Ireland, apart from being in communion of Oriental Orthodox Churches. Our church is an active member in Dublin city interfaith forum, Dublin council of churches, Irish Council of churches and Churches Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME). Representatives from Coptic Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox & Anglican Churches have visited our church.
As part of Charity we visit the homes of needy and others regardless of their caste or religion. The Parish has been crucial catalyst in extending help to homeless and supporting various organizations working for the benefit of needy around the globe.
Vicar and ecumenical representative from our Parish visited the Annual Garda Memorial Day, World Refugee Day, Ecumenical Celebration of St. Patrick at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, Out Reach programme to Syrian Refugee, Thanks Giving Day Reception organized by the Embassy of United States of America, The UN International Day of Solidarity with Palestenian People.
Ecumenical representations to the Choral Event Song at Christ Church Cathedral and with the members of Anglican – Oriental Orthodox International Commission and at the reception by the Hon. Lord Mayor of Dublin at Mansion House were highlights of ecumenical relations this year.
Our Church is a member of the Ecumenical Council of Kerala Christians and participant at Christmas Eve Choral event annually.
