The Malankara Association, consisting of representatives from every single Parish of the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Syrian Church is the highest administrative body of the Church, which signifies the absoluteness of the democratic nature of the Church. Representatives from every parish are elected to the Malankara Association for a period of FIVE years.

The Diocesan Assembly is the representation of all Parishes in the Diocese. The Diocesan Assembly is primarily constituted to discuss and decide upon matters relating to the temporal and physical administration of the Diocese, such as budgeting, accounting and activity planning. Representatives from every parish are elected to the Diocesan Assembly for a period of FIVE years.
