A parish of the Malankara Orthodox Church was officially established in Dublin in 2006. The roots of our parish were planted in the year 2006 by a small orthodox community from the Southern part of India (Kerala). This parish had its humble beginnings as a prayer group and later became a Congregation.
On 17th December 2006, it was officially declared as a parish by our diocesan metropolitan. As more and more Indian Orthodox members started coming to Ireland, our parish started growing and it continues to grow steadily…
The St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church is today a Parish of the Malankara Orthodox Church. It is a fully registered charitable organization registered with the Company Registrar and the Charity Commissioners.
We have regular weekly Qurbana on Sundays. Further all festival services and events as per the Orthodox Calendar and followed without fail.
We are members of the Dublin Council of Churches and the Irish Council of Churches.
